Joanna Head (CGS licenced senior angora judge, master spinner, angora goat breeder)

Who:  This course would be of interest to those wishing to obtain a licence to judge angora goats as well as angora goat breeders, fibre enthusiasts and those considering getting into  angora goats.  Topics covered:  Angora Goat Breed Standard, Scorecard, Angora Goat Management, Fibre Characteristics and uses, Fleece Judging,  CGS Judging Guidelines and more.  Practical hands-on learning is emphasized.

Cost:  Audit (first day only) $60.00 Full Licence (both days) $120.00 The second day will consist of testing.  There is a written test, and a practical hands on test.  A score of 75% must be attained on each part of the test to pass.

Accommodation:  There is room on the farm to bring your camper as well as a local hotel and some space in the farm house.  Lunch and snacks are provided as part of the course.
