Rafter LC Goats has Meat animals and Commercial Breeding stock available
Exp Jan 2024
Meat Animals are sold based on live weight. I am licensed for On Farm Slaughter if you wish to process your own on site. If you want them processed for you. I will connect you to a local butcher who will do this, he requires a 3 to 4 week notice to book your animal in. I can also transport your animal(s) if you choose this option. I do not process goats for buyers. For details on pricing and to book an appointment, call 780-398-2600, no texts please, this is a landline.
Commercial Breeding Stock. Breeding stock is ready for viewing and purchase. These are not purebred goats. They ARE outstanding breeding stock. There is Boer, Savanah, Saanen, Spanish, Kiko, and Lamancha influence in the herd. I have spent over a decade developing animals for mothering, milk, ease of kidding, solid birth weights and weaning weights, as well as parasite resistance. I am happy to show you my herd, please call to make an appointment. I am willing to put packages together for expansion or those starting out. For example, a ‘pen of ten’ doelings, as a starter herd, or to bring new lines into an existing herd. Discounts are given for purchases of 8 or more animals.

The Goat Patch
Exp Jan 2024
Raising purebred and commercial kiko stock.
We hold our goats to the highest standards. We practice “closed herd” and strict biosecurity measures. Our herd has been tested for CAE, Johnes and CL, we have a clean herd. We make sure that our animals are well looked after, cared for and have a hard-culling program. Our kidding rate has been 2.4 kids per doe.
