Eyes on the Herd: Parasite and FAMACHA © workshop

Anemia found in livestock, such as goats, sheep and alpacas, is generally associated with parasites.

Leduc County, working in partnership with the Alberta Goat Association and New Humble Community

School, will host an interactive workshop featuring Melissa Moggy, a veterinarian and a certified trainer

for the FAMACHA ©. Participants will experience a mix of classroom and hands-on learning.


Participants can become certified in the FAMACHA © system. This system is designed to help farmers
